Inquiry Learning at Nearnung Primary School is informed by the Victorian Curriculum.
Inquiry Learning allows students to explore how the content of the Victorian Curriculum is interconnected.
Teachers explicity teach the Victorian Curriculum Learning Areas and Capabilities:
These are taught in conjunction with skills that allow students to make connections between their learning, apply their new knowledge, and reflect on the impact their learning has had on themselves and others. Inquiry Learning encourages students to develop key 'assets' that will support life long learning. These assets are drawn from the extensive work and research of Kath Murdoch, an expert in Inquiry Learning.
